Tottenham wanted to take an early lead in the match against Southampton and did so with a goal that ended up being disallowed, albeit a close one.
Harry Kane was responsible for getting the ball in the back of the net with a point-blank volley, even though he was not the one offside.
VAR checked the play and saw that Son received the initial long ball while offside, the referee was given the information and ended up taking a goal from the scoreboard.
About ten minutes later it was Southampton who took the lead and the goal was also disallowed. A long ball for Danny Ings and Lloris was honestly very lucky.
The goalkeeper went out of the area to clear it with his head, and only managed to hit it with his feet, the ball hit Ings' hand, causing Ings' finish into an open goal to not go up on the scoreboard.

In less than half an hour, a third goal was disallowed. Lucas Moura was offside, so Kane's goal was not allowed either.
