After the 2-2 draw between Real Madrid and Club America of Mexico at Oracle Park in San Francisco (USA), Carlo Ancelotti appeared in the mixed zone and said that "those players who won the Champions League will have priority" in the starting eleven for the European Super Cup.
The 'Merengues' will play this final against Eintracht Frankfurt in Helsinki (Finland) on 10th August.
The Real Madrid coach's comments came after the second pre-season match of the Soccer Champions Tour in the United States, in which the coach stressed that the Mexicans "arrived with more experience".
"We played a good game, but you can see they are playing their league at the same time," said Ancelotti.
He also assured that the game of both Camavinga and Ceballos, who the fans want to see more minutes, was "good": "They all came together in midfield in the second half and played well, Ceballos is very good on the ball".
The 'Blancos' next game, and the last before the European Super Cup, is against Juventus in Los Angeles, to end the American tour.
Ancelotti revealed that Carvajal, who is suffering from a sprained ankle, "will have minutes". Rudiger will also get some minutes, perhaps again moved to left-back, because, according to the Italian, "Mendy is the starter, but Rudiger is doing very well".
