"There's no problem with Kounde"

Barcelona's home tie against Mallorca represents the end of several eras. Not only will the side be saying goodbye to the Spotify Camp Nou while it undergoes renovation works, but it will also be the last home game for club legends Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.

One player they won't be saying goodbye to however, is French centre back Jules Kounde. It had been rumoured that the Barca man was not happy at Xavi's side as he had been playing out of position too much for his liking.

However, in the pre-match presser, manager Xavi dispelled those myths, saying that "I already said there would be no problem with Kounde.... There's no problem, nothing wrong. We had a very good coversation, healthy, he's a key piece".

He also made clear that the side will not be dabbling in this upcoming market for a new left back, as they are already confident in Marcos Alonso and Balde.
