His side will travel to bottom-placed Burnley after beating Leicester 4-2 last weekend.
Bournemouth are fifth in the Premier League after a stunning start to the season, but manager Howe believes his side can step on even further.
"I have always believed that no matter where you are or what you are doing, there is always room to improve. How can we push things on again?
"We are never going to be the finished product. You are always looking to take the team to the next step.
"It is so early in the season, no conclusions can be drawn yet and it is all to be proved.
"The mentality of the group, that has always been one of our strengths and it has always felt like there is something special here."
Howe was also keen not to underestimate Burnley, despite their poor start.
"In terms of performances, they are strong and are a very disciplined team. When they are functioning well, they are a tough team to beat, as a lot of sides found out last year," Howe added.
"I don't think they will be in that position for long."
