The midfielder took to Twitter to motivate his followers and Barcelona fans, but his post ruffled some feathers.

Although Frenkie de Jong has tried to adapt quickly to a new country, he is still getting there. The midfielder has not found consistency on the pitch and perhaps is not fully integrated into the Spanish way of life either.

Despite not being a habitual user of Twitter -he updates it once a week or less- the Barcelona midfielder took to social media after Valverde's sacking.

By chance or not, his tweet left a lot to talk about. "Back to training mode" he published, with a picture of the former Ajax man.

HIs message recieved a lot of comments, as a lot of fans insinuated that with Valverde he was not training enough.

After seeing the reactions he deleted the tweet, the only thing that happened was that it was a misinterpreted phrase. But social network users continued to understand it in their own way...
