The Belgian has quickly emerged as Real Madrid's number one target to replace Crsitiano Ronaldo following his move to Juventus, though the 'Blues' are continuing to play hardball over a fee.
Hazard's admission that he was considering leaving the club following Belgium's World Cup third-place play-off win over England rocked Chelsea, with the 27-year-old saying: "After six wonderful years at Chelsea, it might be time to discover something different. You know my preferred destination.”
The former Lille man remains keen on a move to Real Madrid, despite the departure of childhood hero Zinedine Zidane.
'Los Blancos' are understood to be confident of sealing moves for both Hazard and fellow countryman Thibaut Courtois, who is thought to be close to agreeing a £35.5m move of his own.
However, Chelsea are reported to have placed a £200m asking price on Hazard's head as they look to ensure he is still at the club to lead Maurizio Sarri's revolution.
Of the two, Courtois' contract status makes him the more likely to leave the club this summer as he moves into the last year of his deal, whilst Hazard remains contracted for two more season.
