The stripes are back: Barça's kit for 2020-21
With such a tight schedule and with the objective of starting the advertising campaign for next year, Barcelona did not wait any longer to announce what will be their first shirt for 2020-21.
Barcelona says goodbye to the somewhat criticised kits of this campaign to return to the usual strips. It returns to a habitual and historical design for the club, although it introduces new details.
The club chose Antoine Griezmann, Sergi Roberto, Frenkie de Jong, Sergio Busquets, Gerard Piqué and Leo Messi as the main protagonists of the men's team. The absence of Luis Suarez is noteworthy.
Vicky Losada, Asisat Oshoala or Alexia Putellas are some of the members of the women's team that were chosen to model the kit.
The importance of yellow is striking, both in the neck - more pronounced - and in the vertical stripes. It is reminiscent of the 2010-2011 kit, in which Barcelona won the UCL with Guardiola.
