The reason why Cristiano Ronaldo will not go to the Ballon d'Or ceremony

As 'Goal' and various other sources point out, Cristiano Ronaldo will the main absentee from the Balon d'Or ceremony. 

It's a fact that the Portuguese will not win this time and therefore, he will prioritise his personal commitments over the ceremony in Paris. 

According to recent information, CR7 will go to Milan where he will be named the best player in Serie 2018-19 in a ceremony which will be going on at the same time. 

Curiously, it will not be the first time he is skips the ceremony because he did not attend in 2018 after knowing that the winner would be his ex-teammate Luka Modric. 

Recent reports suggest that the Portuguese might not even be in the top three so that might be why he has preferred to go to Milan. 

As well as the trophy for the best Serie A player, Cristiano Ronaldo will also appear in the best XI, together with Handanovic, Cancelo, Chiellini, Koulibaly and Kolarov, Ilicic, Barella, Pjanic, Quagliarella and Zapata.
