Villarreal v Monaco
The draw has seen Villarreal take on Monaco in what is likely to be a closely contested tie. Villarreal finished fourth in La Liga last season while Monaco finished third in Ligue 1 last season, losing just seven games. This one is just too close to call.
Porto v Roma
This fixture means that one European giant will miss out on the competition. Both teams finished third in their respective divisions last season, with Roma perhaps the favourites to go through. However, Porto are usually strong in the Champions League and famously won it with Mourninho in 2004.
Steaua v Man City
While Manchester City will be expected to see off their Romanian opponents, the tie will present a potential banana skin for Pep Guardiola's side. Manchester City want to win the Champions League this season more than anything, but simply qualifying may not be easy.
