The only guy out of 223 leagues to have more goals than Cristiano in 2020

Cristiano Ronaldo has begun the season in fine form. After his brace in Rome, he is now on three goals so far this season. In other words, he remains in great form after scoring plenty of times at the back end of last term. Even though Ronaldo is the top scorer in 2020 out of the top European leagues, he is not the best on the planet.

ProFootballDB spotted that nobody had better numbers than him in Europe (24 goals in 21 competitive club matches - 1874 minutes), found somebody in Costa Rica. He is Marcel Hernandez. 

The Cuban striker for SC Cartagines has 26 goals in 30 games (2558 minutes). We are talking of a 31 year-old who has shone for the Costa Rican outfit in recent seasons. There are flashes of Cristiano in the way he celebrates his goals and even some of the goals themselves.
