The obstacle that complicates Bale's Madrid exit

Real Madrid are preparing themselves for the market. They are more or less clear on what players they count on and who they don't for 2020-21.

Gareth Bale isn't an undisputable player for Zidane. In fact, Los Blancos would be willing to listen to offers for the Welshman.

However, 'Mundo Deportivo' explains that Bale is closer to staying at Madrid than leaving the Santiago Bernabéu. The reason: his high salary.

Bale currently earns around 14.5 million euros a year. A figure that no club is willing to take on... and less now with the health crisis.
