Being a starter in a European final is a gift which very few players can enjoy. However, for 'Los Blancos', they have five players who are accustomed to playing on football's biggest club stage.
In Lisbon, Milan and Cardiff, the five were indispensable in steering Real to Champions League triumphs. In Kiev, Ronaldo, Ramos, Carvajal, Benzema and Modric will be hoping it's fourth times the charm.
Many of the stars will be expected to start in the Olympic Stadium as they take on Liverpool for their third consecutive European crown. However, there are doubts whether Benzema will make Zinedine Zidane's XI.
The Frenchman's form has been hit-and-miss this season but he could be handed a lifeline given his experience of dealing with the pressures of a final, although he is yet to score in one.
Ronaldo, Ramos and Modric's appearances are guaranteed though. All three have played every single minute of each final and make up the backbone of Zidane's team.
Carvajal too has proved his worth on the right, offering a perfect blend between attack and defend which will be tested to its limits against a formidable attacking trio of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
The four were particularly impressive in Real's last final appearance, a 4-1 victory over Italian giants Juventus.
Ramos and Carvajal were part of a strong defence which kept the 'Bianconeri' to just a single goal whilst Ronaldo and Modric went on the offensive.
Ronaldo struck the first blow in the 20th minute and also added the third thanks to an assist by Modric.
Casemiro and Marco Asensio completed the scoring that day and Zidane will be hoping for a similar performance from his stalwarts in Kiev later.
