A goal against Liverpool, a hat-trick against Newcastle with one of them being brilliant and making headlines in England and over the world. Although he was the top scorer in the Championship, you are not top of the Premier League goalscoring charts every day.
He started out in Finnish football, a country which has not produced many top players bar Litmanen and Hyppia. In fact, Sevilla had their eyes on him in 2008 and they bought the unknown 18 year-old from KTP for 180,000 euros.
And that is where he showed his quality. However, external factors cut short his career in Spain. "I was a teenager and it was a big change for me. I was living away from home and it was much hotter in Sevilla. It was very hot and I didn't have air conditioning in my flat for the first few weeks," he commented to 'The Telegraph'.
Before leaving, he was a star at youth team level, he shone in the B team and even made his debut for the first team under Manolo Jimenez.
At HJK, he had a life changing game: he scored a hat-trick against a Schalke side which included Raul in a Europa League qualifier in 2011-12. That made the German side buy him and he improved his football there playing alongside the Real Madrid legend.
He is also a Finland international and has made 74 appearances for them. He scored a famous equaliser for Finland in Gijon against Spain in a 1-1 draw back in 2013.
Recent history is more known. Fortunately for him and for Norwich, it is not as cold in England. So maybe he will have the season of his life.
