On Saturday morning, the aforementioned Catalan newspaper led with a story citing Barcelona's next transfer deals. It seems four new faces will be making their way to the Camp Nou soon.
The two most immediate would be Griezmann and Alena. The former has been the subject of intense speculation over the past week, with 'Los Cules' appearing happy to meet his €100million release clause in July.
The other, Alena, is a member of Barcelona's B squad. However, his performances this season seem to have attracted the attention of head coach Ernesto Valverde, who is keen to move the midfielder up to the first-team squad. Alena would be the next in a long-line of 'La Masia' graduates.
Looking ahead to 2019, there are two young players set to bolster Barca's midfield. Arthur, who already has a well-documented agreement with the club, will be seen as Andres Iniesta's replacement.
Nonetheless, with both Ivan Rakitic (30), Sergio Busquets (29), and Paulinho (30) approaching the wrong side of 30, Valverde is keen to bring in another young midfielder: Ajax's Frenkie de Jong, in the 2019 summer transfer window.
