Due to the quarantine because of the coronavirus, football has stopped and clubs have had to look for things to do while there are no matches. Leyton Orient had the idea of organising a FIFA tournament and the requirements were so lax that more than 100 teams ended up signing up.
The club advised on Twitter of their intentions and announced that the championship would be for 64 teams. The problem arrived when many teams showed their intention to compete. It had to be expanded and the tournament remains at 128 teams.
"Sure, connect four is cool but we’ve got a better idea! We need 63 other teams to enter a knock-out FIFA 20 tournament. To enter, all we need is the club to RT this tweet. We will host a live draw this Tuesday…", the club said.
The rules are quite simple. Each team has to choose a representative, whether it be a player or a fan. The club also has to be on FIFA, as they will play choosing themselves on the game- maybe this excludes Juventus...
