According to Paruk from SBD, there are four teams that you can already pencil into the Round of 16.
Group A should be dominated by France, who are massive 1/12 favourites to win their group and got off to a perfect start as they dismantled South Korea 4-0 in the tournament opener.
Similarly, the US should ease through Group F, sitting at 1/12 favourites to finish top. In Group B and D, respectively, Germany(1/4) and England (1/2) should wind up on top. Interestingly, if that does pan out, France and the US would be set to meet in the quarterfinals of the knockout stage, with England potentially awaiting the winner in the semis. Germany, on the other hand, would have a relatively easy run through the bottom half of the bracket.
The women's game has gone from strength to strength in recent years, and this year's edition of the World Cup is set to be the most popular yet. Over 1 million tickets have been sold so far, with many games, including all of hosts France's remaining games and the semi-finals
and final, completely sold out.
