Sillzy was presented in front of 55,000 spectators by two of the best freestylers in the world. Liv Cooke of Britain and the Norwegian Tobias Becs.
"Carrying the beauty of freestyle, street football to football fans from all over Europe is a really special opportunity," afirmed Liv Cooke, ex-world champions and ambassador of Together #WePlayStrong. "Whether it's playing in the park or on the world stage, whether it's in football or freestyling, it is about expressing onself with the ball at your feet;" she added.
Citizens from the 12 host nations of Euro 2020 are invited to follow Liv's advice and show what they are capable of. Cooke invited them to upload a video of the skills which best represent their home city and hope to have a role during the final tournament. Cooke and Becs will pre-select the candidatures for a public vote in whihc a man and a woman will be chosen from each of the host cities: Amsterdam, Baku, Bilbao, Bucarest, Budapest, Copenhagen, Dublin, Glasgow, London, Munich, Rome and Saint Petersburg.
"Euro 2020 will be one of the best sporting events in history and the participation of freestyle culture will make it an even better spectacle and make sure there is something for everyone," said Becs, ex-European champion.
The 24 winners will be converted into local 'freestylers' of the tournament and will have the opportunity to show their skills during it.
