The market is on the increase. The bubble keeps on growing and the amount that are paid for footballers seem like they'll continually be on the up.
Achieving targets like the Champions League and La Liga year after year have costs money and there are four coaches who have broken the one billion euro mark for money spent, according to 'AS'.
Jose Mourinho is at the top. The Portuguese, adding up all the clubs, has spent 1.5 billion euros. Pogba was his most expensive signing, but men like Drogba and Modric also joined under him.
Second in the list is Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian brought Gareth Bale to Real Madrid and Fernando Torres to Chelsea. It is estimated he has spent 1.2 billion euros.
Behind him is Pep Guardiola. His most expensive bit of business was signing Ibrahimovic although Walker, Laporte and Stones were not far behind. His total expenditure comes to 1.17 billion.
The fourth and final man on the list is Manuel Pellegrini with 1.07 billion. 2009 at Real Madrid was when he went on a spending spree. He bought Cristiano, Kaka and Benzema. He then spent more money elsewhere, especially at Manchester City.
