With eight teams now in the draw for the Champions League quarter-finals, we look back at another week full of surprises, good football and goals. UEFA have published their team of the week for this round of fixtures, and it is a line-up that would strike fear into the hearts of any opponents.
In goal is Szczesny, goalkeeper for Juventus, who kept a clean sheet against Atletico and who was rarely troubled throughout the entire game. In fact, they failed to even register a shot on goal, which makes UEFA's decision to include him in this XI rather strange.
In defence are Pique, Van Dijk and Joao Cancelo, while Sane, Mane, Bernardo Silva and Stering are included in midfield, with UEFA opting for a 3-4-3 formation. And the attack is fearsome. Cristiano Ronaldo is situated on the right, with the Portuguese having scored a sensational hat-trick against Atletico as Juventus made a remarkable comeback.
Messi can be found on the left thanks to his impressive performance and two goals against Lyon, while Sergio Aguero also scored a brace this week, and he earns a place in the centre of attack.
