Barcelona are continuing to work on getting new sources of income. Spain's big clubs have not changed the name of their stadia to incorporate a sponsor except Atletico Madrid.
Bayern, Juventus and Manchester City have all done this, but some famous grounds like Old Trafford, have not done it.
Barca, that said, will never the name of the sponsor before the name of the stadium itself. The name Camp Nou is sacred and it will always be Camp Nou.
'AS' explains that there is a difference between 'title rights', which is what Atletico have given Wanda for the Metropolitano stadium, and 'naming rights', which is what Barcelona want. A sponsor who would appear after Camp Nou.
In addition, the newspaper says that the club are asking for at least 200 million euros for 20 years. That is when Barcelona would start negotiating although the club are obviously looking for quite a bit more. There is even talk of then getting 25 million euros a year, so 250 million in 10 years.
The source also says that Barcelona do not want the shirt sponsor and the stadium sponsor to be the same because they want to prevent a big company having too much control of the club.
