The problems with the awarding of the 2022 World Cup to Qatar could make USA, Mexico and Canada's World Cup be brought forward to 2022.

Since Michel Platini was arrested, there have been lots of rumours over the legitimacy of Qatar hosting the 2022 World Cup.

'TNT Sports' reports that there is now movement and meetings taking place to try and find an alternative for Qatar. Their hosting of the 2022 World Cup is in serious trouble.

According to reports in 'Record' and 'AS' as well as 'TNT Sports', the World Cup in three years time could take place in USA, Mexico and Canada.

The organizers have apparently got in touch with these three countries to weigh up the option of them bringing forward their 2026 World Cup to 2022.
