Thauvin (27) confirmed on an Instagram live alongside Malik Bentabla on Saturday, that he will not leave OM. The winger was linked with Milan in the last few hours.
"I'll confirm it to you, I'll stay with Olympique de Marseille, because I see things happening every day and I see my name. You know perfectly well what the club means to me," he said emphatically.
"I'm fine here and, besides, I've lost a whole season. I don't want to leave if we play the Champions League when I've been fighting for it for several years," he explained.
Marseille have to sell to balance a 60 million euros deficit, but Thauvin, whose contract ends in June 2021, doesn't intend to leave the club.
The winger had to stop for 4 months due to ankle problems which saw him go under the knife and in March the coronavirus stopped him from continuing to play, so this season he has only played 2 matches.
