Rumours of a possible return to the Camp Nou for Thiagio Alcantara have dominated many of the back pages for days, but neither Barça nor Bayern have made any announcements on the midfield star's future.
Someone who has had there say, however, is Marc-Andre Ter Stegen. The Barcelona keeper, while talking to 'Sport Bild' revealed that he thinks Thiago would be a massive signing.
"I would love to have Thiago at Barça. His style of play suits us and from our point of view he has a great personality," the German stopper confirmed.
"Thiago is a special player. It's obvious that he would offer us something different. If the transfer were to happen, it would be great for both parties" Ter Stegen added.
Bayern Munich, expecting interest in the player, will accept one of two options if they are to sell Thiago.
The first, and prefered, option for the German side is a payment of €50 million plus left-back Lucas Digne, but if Barcelona don't wish to part with the their full-back, Bayern would also be open to a fee of €70 million.
