Manchester United are tired of Harry Maguire. Despite paying a fortune for him back in the day, they were expecting more from him at Old Trafford.
'The Guardian' claims that the Red Devils will try and get Maguire out next summer. It is thought that United will not make back the amount they paid for him.
The Mancunian side paid £78.3m to Leicester for the defender and that makes him currently the most expensive defender in history.
It would not be a problem for United to sell him for a lower price, the English newspaper claims. All that they want is for a team to take him.
'The Guardian' says that if United have decided to put him up for sale , it is because his sluggishness has become a problem for the team. Varan has taken his spot, despite him recently making his 150th Red Devil appearance, and the club consider him as completely replaceable.
Maguire would not be the only player up for sale. Ten Hag wants to get rid of Fred, so they would be open to offers for him.
The manager knows that the squad needs a deep overhaul. The Dutchman has already passed those names onto the board, and they are just waiting for offers to arrive for both of them.
