Just as 'Marca' announced on Sunday morning, Tony Kroos is set to extend his stay at Real Madrid for another season. Currently under contract until June, it is thought he will finally decide to stay for a tenth season at the 'Merengue' side. It's a bit of news that will certainly please Madrid fans, but not so much Aurelien Tchouameni.
The Frenchman has not been enjoying a lot game time recently. It's true that he's mainly behind Luka Modric and Toni Kroos in the pecking order, but his performances haven't been stand-out when he has been given the chance to play.
While some clubs were keen to pounce on seeing the news that Kroos is staying, the young Frenchman is thought to be set to stay at Real next season. Despite tough competition and several rumours announcing the club were ready to let him go for €70 million, 'AS' are claiming that Florentino Perez will be turning down any offer he gets for the 23 year old.
The Real Madrid president is confident that Aurelian Tchouameni will end up coming into his own at Los Blancos, and will refind the form he showed at Monaco.
