According to 'La Stampa', Sarri and Pjanic have fallen out again after things calmed down during the coronavirus pandemic. The Coppa Italia games and an incident prior to the Bologna match seem to have been the problem.
The relationship between both worsened before the coronavirus crisis and the Bosnian took a back seat after the loss against Lyon and the Inter game and now the Italian press say things have worsened again.
However, Sarri has denied this is the case in comments to 'Sky Sport'. "Talk of me having fallen out with Pjanic is a big lie. Miralem is one of the three footballers I use the most;" he said.
"'I'm very close to him and he's a main man because he has a very important role in midfield," the Italian added. He started Pjanic against Napoli and AC Milan, but Juventus did not get the desired result.
It is worth pointing out the midfielder is among Barcelona's priorities and that he prefers to go to Barca or not leave. The reported spat with Sarri means the footballer could be more likely to join Barca.
