"Taking out Messi and Cristiano, I'd say Pedro"

Gonzalo Higuain made a surprising choice when it comes to the best player he has played with. In an interview with 'Marca', excluding Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, he said Pedro Rodriguez. 

"Pedro Rodriguez has always seemed to me to be a superb player, someone who has not been valued as much as possible. He plays with both feet, he understands football, I think he's an excellent player," the Argentinian international said. 

He also highlighted Higuain who he was teammates with at Napoli: "I got on perfectly with Mertens." But the Belgian was not the only player Gonzalo Higuain praised. 

"Guti at Real Madrid, Jorginho at Napoli, Insigne, Callejon... players who have helped an awful lot," the Argentinian footballer concluded.
