Liverpool don't want to let Virgil van Dijk escape. According to 'Football Insider', the English side will put a succulent contract renewal offer on the table in the next few days, an offer which will increase his salary above the 10 million a year net salary he is currently earning.
The 28-year old defender is one of Liverpool's stand out players, vital in the starting XI, a regular in the Liverpool defence.
Since he arrived at Liverpool from Southampton in 2017-18, the Dutch international defender has played 106 official matches, scoring 11 times.
He as played a total of 33 official matches this season, starting all of them, and has also scored 4 goals. That is why there is no offer that will convince the Reds' board about Van Dijk.
The Dutchman is under contract until the middle of 2023, something that wouldn't prevent Juventus from launching 180 million euros bid.
