"Winning the Premier League is difficult because the season is very long. But at this time, they have a good advantage," the 33-year-old Uruguayan commented to 'ESPN FC' during a presention of branded boots that he sponsors.
"But we all know what football is like. Last season was a similar advantage at one point and, in the end, Manchester City won the title (in the last game)," he continued.
Suarez, who played for Liverpool for three and a half seasons (he arrived in the winter market from Ajax for 26.5 million euros), was very close to getting Liverpool their first league title since 1990, a little before signing for Barcelona.
