Stuttgart-Barca delayed until 19.00 due to the Catalan side's late arrival

Barcelona have had a problem on their arrival to Stuttgart. This was confirmed by the German club, who also made public that the match between the two has been delayed by one hour.

"Kick-off has been delayed by an hour due to Barcelona have been caught in heavy traffic on their arrival to Stuttgart. The scheduled kick-off is at 19:00," Stuttgart confirmed in a brief statement.

The incident, which was made public by Barcelona, was also revealed by Stuttgart. This will be the third friendly match played by Ronald Koeman's side, still without most of their internationals.

"Today's friendly with VfB Stuttgart will kick off at 7pm CEST due to traffic issues that have delayed the first team's arrival at the stadium," Barcelona posted on their Twitter account.

The build up to the match has already been disrupted by two players testing positive from Stuttgart. However, the German club confirmed that the match would go ahead, as the two players were immediately isolated.
