All eyes are on Wednesday night's Champions League semi-final between Liverpool and Villarreal, but there have been other important football matches this Wednesday.
One of those took place in Austria between second placed Sturm Graz and RB Salzburg. The visitors had already been crowned champions going into this one at the Stadion Graz-Liebenau while Graz needed the points to seal a place in next season's Champions League.
The home side took the lead in the 14th minute through Lukas Jager, but Benjamin Sesko soon levelled for the champions. It remained 1-1 until the 72nd minute when Jakob Jantscher put Sturm Graz back in front. That proved to be the winning goal and Graz booked their place in next season's premier club competition.
Three matches remain for both teams and Graz's next fixture is away to Austria Klagenfurt on Sunday while Salzburg play Ried on Sunday in the Austrian Cup final.
