According to stats from Opta, Salah has had 50 'big chances' since the start of 2017/18, putting the Egyptian at the top of the leaderboards.
To clarify, Opta defines a 'big chance' as a "situation where a player should reasonably be expected to score, usually in a one on one scenario or from very close range when the ball has a clear path to goal and there is low to moderate pressure on the shooter. Penalties are always considered big chances."
However, Salah only bagged 22 of those chances, while Raheem Sterling, scoring 15 of his 28 big chances, overtakes him for top spot.
This may come as a surprise to fans, with Sterling often ridiculed for his finishing for Manchester City.
Harry Kane is close to Salah on the chances charts, though his conversion rate is slightly higher than the Liverpool forward's, at 49%.
