Sterling: 'All I thought about in lockdown was scoring'

City was a real steamroller. Brighton proved unable to stop Guardiola's team.

Much of the blame for that 0-5 lies with Sterling, who shone and scored a 'hat trick'. After the match, he attended to the club's media.

"During the confiement, I only thought about experiencing again what it feels like to score a goal. It's great to have started on a good run. In this game against Brighton, for example, we had chances. When we know how to take them, we are scary," said Sterling.

He admits, however, that they have not always done well this term: "We know we are an attacking team. Some of the games this season have been disappointing.
