Following a stellar start to his loan spell with Hoffenheim, Reiss Nelson remains tight-lipped when it comes to discussing his future back in the Premier League with parent club Arsenal.
The 18 year old has scored four goals in five appearances since he opted to join the Bundesliga on a season long loan in the summer.
Nelson has already made more appearances for Hoffenheim than he did at parent club Arsenal, where he has only made three top flight appearances.
And in recent weeks, Nelson has indicated that he will consider all of his options when his loan spell comes to an end; hinting that the club that offers him the better chance of regular game time, will win the rights to his signature.
In an interview with the Bundesliga official website, Nelson was coy over his future, saying: "At the moment I'm very happy here. I'm playing, I'm scoring, but I'm an Arsenal player at the end of the day, so I have to stay and do my job here. Then wherever football takes me I'll go."
The London born star has admitted that the transition to a new city has been hard, but he believes that the move abroad will be the making of him.
Nelson told the Bundesliga: "The change has been very big for me. I'm from London. In my area, I'm always used to being out with my friends, playing football in the streets, as you know a lot of London boys do.
He concluded: Here, I live in Heidelberg and it's kind of quiet so you have to choose your times to go out and plan a lot of stuff. For me, it's making me as a footballer and a person so I'm just happy I'm taking the right steps."
