Sparks are flying: Leo Messi faced Joao Felix

In the absence of first half goals, the Barca-Atletico game left a lot of tension and intensity. Both clubs fought a great battle in a first half in which Barcelona were the better side, but they did not find the goal.

With the end of the first half, one of the most iconic images of the Super Cup so far was produced. Joao Felix faced Jordi Alba in the area and the thing seemed to end there.

But, once Gonzalez blew the whistle, Leo Messi approached the Portuguese to defend one of his best friends, Alba.

The cameras captured them both arguing and even throwing his hand away from his face a couple of times. Luis Suarez also got involved to help out his friend Messi and fought with the Portuguese.

Joao Felix and Messi left and those who got the worst of it were the Uruguayan and Savic, who continued to fight and were cautioned.
