Scottish international Stuart Armstrong is on the move to Southampton in a deal worth in the region of £7million.
The 26-year-old has reportedly completed his medical on Monday, and will become manager Mark Hughes' first signing.
Armstrong began his career in Dundee United's youth set-up, joined Celtic in 2015 and has helped the club achieve back-to-back titles. He has also made six appearances with the senior Scottish national team.
Last summer Armstrong signed a new two-year deal with Celtic, and subsequently recorded 28 goals in 145 appearances for the club.
This season was not plain sailing for Southampton, who finished one place above the bottom three, only just saving them from relegation.
