The news agency 'AGI' is suggesting that there is an agreement between Juventus and Pep Guardiola. The coach will swap the Premier League for Serie A.
So, according to that news source, Guardiola will become Allegri's successor. Juve have already confirmed that the Italian no longer has a place on the bench for next season.
The news agency are so sure of the agreement that they have even dared to offer up a date for it to be made official: 14th June.
A theory that has gained some support: on the club's website, Juve are not accepting public entrance that day - exactly what happened when they signed Cristiano Ronaldo. The day of his presentation, the stadium did not welcome visitors. This has only served to fuel the rumours.
According to 'AGI', Guardiola could sign for four seasons and would earn 24 million euros per season, although they have not specified whether that amount is gross or net.
However, his future is not so clear for a lot of other people. 'TuttoSport' has suggested that Guardiola is currently in Abu Dhabi on holiday but not just to relax, but also on business. City's owner lives there and, according to the news outlet, they may well be discussing a potential renewal deal for Guardiola at City.
Two contrasting theories which beg the question, what's in store for Pep Guardiola? It's all up in the air for now.
