Solskjaer remains ambitious against Barcelona

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer referred to the team's feelings prior to the clash in Barcelona, for which he is quite optimistic. "It's the Camp Nou, everyone wants to win," he said.

Much was said by the Norwegian technician, who at all times wanted to show himself as ambitious. He even highlighted that he is determined for his team to end tomorrow's match with more possession than Barcelona

"In Old Trafford we didn't keep the authority and we didn't have the possession. We need to have the ball and impose our style. If you give Messi or Suarez the ball they will create chances for their team. I hope that we are not so closed up in our field," he said.

Obviously, Barça will not be allowing this if they can prevent it, something that the young coach is already aware of: "It is in the DNA of the players to control the match. They'll want to do it, and so will we. I don't think they will let us have many counter-attacks, so we want to make good use of the ball."

Solskjaer returns to Camp Nou with wonderful memories, although he's been a spectator a lot more times than a player on the pitch. "It brings me a lot of emotions, of course. It was the only time I've been on the field playing, because I brought my son to see a 'Clasico' in 2016, and last week I also watched the clash against Atletico," he said.

One way to approach the match is to remember how United surprised PSG on their own turf. "The memory of what we did in Paris will help us at the Camp Nou. That match will be very present. It hasn't been long," he said.

In fact, he is not ruling out a match similar to that one: "The teams have the feeling that we're playing more openly. We scored against PSG after two minutes, and football matches are always decided by small details. That's the same thing; if we score early, we'll be at the same level and we know it's important".

Solskjaer is confident that the previously injured players he recovers will amplify his goalscoring ability at the Camp Nou.

"They are very important because we need to score. Lingard, Martial... will all be important because we need to score a goal. Those who are going to go out have to do a good performance," he said.
