Ole-Gunnar Solskjaer publically confirmed that Manchester United need to sign a striker urgently. That is why the English press have started to speak of Paco Alcácer's arrival to Old Trafford.

Paco Alcácer cold change teams again, adding a new league to his outstanding career. The experienced 26-year-old striker is being tipped with a move to Manchester United.

That is what 'Daily Mirror' assure, who speak of the arrival of the current Dortmund striker to Old Trafford in January.

However, the English outfit will have to compete with Valencia who are bidding strongly to get the striker to come back to the Mestalla, offering 35 million euros.

So far this season, the ex-Barcelona player has played 15 official matches, starting 9 and scoring 7 times. He has also set up a couple of goals.

In total, he has played 47 matches for Dortmund, scoring 26 times. Stats that have caught the attention of United who have a long list of targeted candidates on their agenda.

Marcus Rashford's injury, as Ole-Gunnar Solskjaer himself confirmed publically, has forced the English side to dip into the market. Cavani, Piatek, Jovic, Giroud and Llorente are among Solskjaer's candidates.
