Footballers, and sportsmen in general, are in for a tough time during this break because of the coronavirus pandemic. They have to keep fit, but they cannot leave the house or in some countries like England, only for a very short period of time. Not easy.
Sheffield United are one of the English clubs which are asking their players to take this break seriously. The 'Yorkshire Post' reports that the club will fine any player who does not keep his fitness up during the break.
Uncertainty is affecting the work of all areas of the English club. For example, there are players whose contracts are running out in the summer or on loan and they do not know whether those contracts will be able to be extended.
What is clear is that Sheffield United do not want their form to drop after a sensational opening three quarters to the campaign. They are currently in a Europa League spot and only just outside the Champions League places.
