Sevilla and Istanbul Basaksehir are negotiating the loan of Belgian left winger Adnan Januzaj to the Turkish club until the end of the season, a loan that will not include a purchase option, so the player will fulfil the contract that links him to the Andalusian club until June 2026.
Sources in the negotiations have informed 'EFE' that the agreement that is being finalised consists of the Ottoman side paying half of the player's annual salary, that is to say, that they will be paying the striker's wages for the months that he plays in their squad.
The Belgian international's move to Turkey is still possible because the country's Super League is one of the few European championships to extend its winter transfer window beyond the end of January, until 8th February to be precise.
The 27-year-old Januzaj, who joined Sevilla as a free agent last August after leaving Real Sociedad, has only accumulated 126 minutes of playing time as a Sevilla player, distributed between two appearances in La Liga, one in the Cup and three in the Champions League.
