Barcelona drew with Levante and that could basically means goodbye to any hopes of winning La Liga with two games remaining.
As well as that, Sergi Roberto was unable to play the full 90 minutes and he had to leave the field of play with a noticeable limp and with discomfort in his right thigh.
This Wednesday, the player has been submitted to the relevant tests and the Catalan club's medical report does not make for the good reading. The versatile player will miss the rest of the season.
"First team player Sergi Roberto is suffering from tendon discomfort in his right rectus femoris. His recovery will be assessed over the coming days," the club said in a statement.
Sergi Roberto is unlikely to play in the last two matches and even more so given Barca's title hopes hang by a thread.
