Directors at Deportivo La Coruna have come to an agreement with Seedorf, and the Dutch coach will now leave the club. The Spanish side were relegated after finishing 18th, and Seedorf will not be the man to lead the charge as they attempt to bounce back to La Liga.
The former AC Milan player signed a contract with Depor back in February, agreeing a short term deal until June 30. However, after failing to keep the side up, the club will not renew his contract, and he will leave the with no need for compensation.

"Clarence Seedorf will not continue as head coach of Deportivo next season" a tweet released by the club states.
"It has been a real pleasure to work with a professional of this level, with the ability to manage a La Liga team" club president Tino Fernandez stated. "But to face this new challenge, Deportivo are going to look for a coach who brings more experience and knowledge of the Spanish second division."
The Dutchman fought until the end, but he wasn't able to improve Depor's situation, and they ended up falling into the second division. Seedorf also wanted to give thanks for the confidence invested in him. "It has been an honour to defend the colours of an historic club like Deportivo," he said. "I thank the president and the whole professional team at Depor for their work and help during these months."
