Saul is not getting game time at Stamford Bridge. The midfielder left Atletico Madrid on the final day of the market, in search of an opportunity he has yet to have.
At the moment, the former Atletico Madrid man has played two matches, both against Aston Villa. In the first game, which was in the Premier League, he lasted just 45 minutes on the pitch. In the Carabao game, he played 76.
Saul has not played a single minute in the Champions League. He did not play a single second of the win over Zenit and he was also not in action in the loss to Juventus.
The trio of Kante, Jorginho and Kovacic are ahead of the Spanish international. Added to that is Ross Barkley who appeared as an emergency solution against the Italians.
It remains clear that, so far this season, Thomas Tuchel does not count on a player who left his comfort zone in Atletico Madrid, for a new adventure in London.
