Saúl, 150 million or nothing

The midfielder renewed for many more years at Atletico and did not hesitate to show all his commitment and love for Atletico Madrid, but Europe's big clubs lie in wait. Manchester City will try to convince Saul that their sporting project is better than Atletico's and will keep doing so until Atletico firmly say no. Man City would have a great contract prepared for him. 

At the moment, City have apparently offered 100 million euros, however, Atletico Madrid will negotiate for anything less than what is stated in his buyout clause: 150 million. Saul extended his contract until 2026, so any exit would catch both the club and the fans by surprise. The fans love him and have always supported him. What Atletico clear are clear on is that any team would have to spend big if they want to have such a key player for Simeone, who has already lost Lucas Hernandez.
