Saudi Arabia top summer targets

The Saudi league wants to sign football stars after Karim Benzema's arrival at Al Ittihad. The country looks set to make a multi-million dollar outlay.

Several players like N'Golo Kante are set to follow in the footsteps of footballers like Luiz Gustavo, David Ospina and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Riyad Mahrez (Manchester City)

'Foot Mercato' reported that a delegation from Saudi club Al-Ahli have been in London to discuss the possibility of deals with various players. One of the players on their list is City winger, Riyad Mahrez.

The 32-year-old has two years left on his contract with Man City and made 48 appearances for the club this season. He was a substitute for City in the UCL final, but did not come on.

Franck Kessie (Barcelona)

According to 'Mundo Deportivo', a Saudi Arabian club are interested in the Ivorian and will present him with an offer to join in the summer. The 26-year-old is not considering leaving Barcelona.

The midfielder wants to continue playing under Xavi Hernandez for more seasons.

Iago Aspas (Celta Vigo)

The Spaniard has played for European sides such as Sevilla and Liverpool but is reportedly linked with Saudi club Al Fateh.

Jordi Alba (Barcelona)

Jordi Alba has already become a Barcelona legend and is looking for a new destination. The left-back has three options for next season as he has two offers from two Saudi Arabian clubs and is also negotiating with Inter Miami.

Mariano Diaz (Real Madrid)

As a free agent, the Dominican forward is having offers thrown at him, left, right and centre from European teams, and others further afield. Both Al Shabab and Al Fateh are interested in him.

Romelu Lukaku (Inter Milan)

Lukaku is the latest to meet with Saudi representatives in the Middle East. AlHilal are willing to give him a two-year deal that obviously comes with a typical huge Saudi salary.

Neymar (Paris Saint-Germain)

Saudi emissaries have travelled to Paris to meet with Neymar's team and present him an offer. The Brazilian is currently under contract with PSG until 2027.

Edin Dzeko (Inter Milan)

Dzeko is having a superb season at Inter. As a result, the board want to renew his current contract for one year but Al Hilal are trying to convince the Bosnian with a huge proposal.

Sergio Ramos (Paris Saint-Germain)

Al Ahli, recently promoted to the Saudi Arabian top flight, are ready to bid for Sergio Ramos. The centre-back is free after leaving PSG and could receive a salary in the region of €20 million.

Hakim Ziyech (Chelsea)

Chelsea right winger Hakim Ziyech is Al Nassr's next target, with the Saudi club's president set to travel to London to offer the Moroccan the chance to join Cristiano Ronaldo's club.
