Sancho stops thinking about Man Utd
Borussia Dortmund took the decision of keeping Jadon Sancho. Despite United's insistence, they could not reach an agreement by the deadline Dortmund set and now it looks like the Englishman has moved on.
Michael Zorc, the Dortmund sporting director, said that Sancho staying at the club is "a definitive decision." And the latest comments by the player to Borussia Dortmund's website, after the first friendly against SCR Altach, suggest that his mind is only on Dortmund.
"I'm very happy to be with them and guide them. I arrived when I was 17, some of the guys are the same age. I've been there and done it. I can guide them as to what's good and what isn't. With a bit of luck, I can motivate them as well," Sancho added.
In other words, the Englishman is going to become a role model for upcoming youngsters like Jude Bellingham, Youssoufa Moukoko and Claudio Reyna. He therefore seems committed to staying and helping his teammates.
Precisely his fellow countryman Bellingham spoke about getting some game time in the 6-0 victory: "I'm enjoying every minute, they were some very good opening minutes playing with the guys. I've loved it. My teammates are very good, they make it easy for me."
