Sancho learning from Southgate
The 18-year-old has had an incredible start to life in Germany, having scored once and assisted nine goals in just over 400 minutes of action across all competitions.
This earned the Borussia Dortmund winger a call-up from Gareth Southgate - the manager has been attentive towards Sancho in training.
Remarking on what the call was like, Sancho remarked: "He congratulated me and said he thinks I have been playing well in the Bundesliga and starting two games in the Champions League.
"He felt that was a big thing for me, in terms of how well I managed it on the pitch and off it. He was just saying, 'keep up the hard work and we will see what happens next'."
The Manchester City academy product is staying grounded despite his evident ability. He added: "Just try and continue to be the best I can be. Work hard and never give up and be determined. Later on in my career you never know what can happen, so I just have to wait and see."
