Jadon Sancho returned to Dortmund on loan in January after struggling at Old Trafford following a big-money move in 2021. He had been frozen out of the first team following a public falling-out with United head coach Erik ten Hag.
He has been linked with a permanent transfer to Dortmund but sporting director Sebastian Kehl denied the rumours and said he was unlikely to stay in Germany.
The 23-year-old has been a regular starter under coach Edin Terzic since his return to Dortmund, but the Englishman remains a long way short of the scintillating form he showed as he amassed 50 goals and 64 assists in 137 games in his first four-year spell in Dortmund.
Moreover, his transfer fee is too expensive and Manchester United are likely to want to sell him in the next transfer window.
Sancho is aware of what he wants for his future. The left winger does not want to return to Old Trafford and would prefer to try his luck at a team other than Erik ten Hag's side.
