Sanchez has endured a frustrating nine-month spell at Old Trafford since joining the club from Arsenal in January, struggling to produce anything like his best form.
Now, according to the 'Daily Mail', the Chilean has informed his representatives to speak to clubs from across Europe to assess the level of interest in the 29-year-old.
Whilst previously one of the first names on the teamsheet, United boss Jose Mourinho has started his statement signing in just five of the club's 11 games this season to date.
Indeed, Sanchez has only mustered four goals and six assists in 25 games for the 'Red Devils', a significant drop from his time with Barcelona and Arsenal where he was scoring a goal every three games and every two games respectively.
One problem for interested parties will no doubt be the fact that Sanchez is the Premier Legaue's top earner, taking home a wage packet of around £450,000 per week. That is likely to be difficult to match, especially so for clubs in Europe.
Sanchez's goal in United's comeback win against Newcastle before the international break was his first for the club since April, with sources close to the player reportedly putting his poor form down to his split with girlfriend Mayte Rodriguez.
